#HighFive – Hristo Hadjitchonev from A4Everyone

The articles in the #HighFive series have one goal and one goal only – present to you inspiring human beings and the companies they are part of in a quick and casual way. The exact way of the real high-five you do with a friend you meet on the street.

With the first series of articles in the new #HighFive column we begin with the founders of the startups participating in the Visa Innovation Program S1.

In this article we feature Hristo Hadjitchonev, who has over 25 years in the software development industry. Spending his earlier days as a freelancer, in 1994 he co-founded Taurus – a company established to develop business software for Apple. He finished his MSc in Analytical modelling of Economic systems building on top of his interest in Business Intelligence (BI) and Data Mining solutions.

In a short time in 2007, his passion for the BI and the Data Mining led him to Experian Decision Analytics targeting at that moment to settle development division in Bulgaria. As a Head of the Development he built a team that reached 100 software specialists delivering products with annual revenue of 80 million USD for mathematical modelling for a decision-making and risk management, financial scorecard development, fraud prevention, debt collection and customer management. In 2013, he took the challenge, on top of his duties, to establish and manage a global team of 20+ Business Analysts responsible for the definition of the roadmap of the entire portfolio of software products in Experian Decision Analytics with annual revenue of 300 million USD.  In 2015, he was invited to join the Experian DA senior management team as Director of Projects and Operations.

Currently he is a co-founder and CEO of A4Everyone, a startup company dedicated to data analytics focused on small and medium enterprises.

My superpower is… Intuition.

One of my productivity hacks is… always use Eisenhower Matrix to manage your time and resources distribution.

If I am not an entrepreneur, I will be… skipper.

For me success is… the most undefined thing in the universe.

I dream of… love, peace and ASAP colonization of the solar system.

The problem which A4E is tackling is… shortage of competent human resources.

The UVP (Unique Value Proposition) of our product is… so we provide efficiency to our clients based on automation of decisions

The hardest part about building a startup is… the current universe

I learned the hard way that… don’t play with the big boys if you don’t have the right size.

We believe in our success, because… we are succeeding.

Thank you for stopping by in our Visa Innovation Program blog!
